The Murder Mystery Evening

Last night a group of 12 normal individuals dressed up like 20’s gangsters and flappers to partake in a Murder Mystery night (The Great Gatsby’ Speakeasy).

At the height of prohibition in 1920s Chicago, there was a mob war brewing between the South Side Gangsters and the Northern Chicago Mob Outfit. The two ruthless crime leaders Hal Sapone and Beanie O’Dannon (played by yours truly) reached a mutual agreement on bootlegging practices in Chicago and decided to pull together resources and undergo a collaborative effort with criminal endeavors.

However, one fated night at ‘The Grand Gatsby’ Speakeasy ended up being the straw that broke the camel’s back as the two crime factions gathered together to discuss the future of underground casinos. And, to everyone’s horror…one of the guests at the speakeasy was murdered! To prevent a massive mêlée, the mobsters and their companions decided to work together one last time to try to figure out who-dun-it before the fatal flames between these two criminal organizations rekindled.

Dun Dun Dun

It was a great night of hanging out with friends and doing something outside the ordinary.  Plus I got to hang out with my beautiful Dame (AKA Kate)

Here are a couple other fun pictures

Good friends (and business partners) of ours Andy and Jessie
